Guernsey's Electricity Supply Industry
The Operators
On August 6th 1898 Edmundsons Electricity Corporation was granted the concession to build and operate the electricity supply system in Guernsey.
On July 20th 1907 The Guernsey Electric Light and Power Company Limited acquired the concession from Edmundsons Electricity Corporation.
On July 1st 1933 the States of Guernsey terminated the concession, acquired the undertaking and delivered it to the States Electricity Board to administer in trust.
