Opportunities for Work Experience
Work experience is an opportunity to experience working life and a guide to young people choosing a career path. Guernsey Electricity Ltd provides work experience for many young people throughout the year in all disciplines and skills. Typically we offer up to ten placements per year through the Careers Service. Typical age range is from 14 - 21 and the placements are made in the section most appropriate to the skills requested, usually for one week.
Work Placement
Some degree courses include a Year in Industry. GE Ltd offers opportunities for those students with local residential qualifications to complete this integral part of their course in a familiar environment.
