Staff were invited to submit their photos of Guernsey’s iconic landscapes and scenes to be included in the calendar. The winning photo on the front over, ‘Summer Flowers’, was taken by Brian Thorburnn, who chose the animal charity as the beneficiary.
Steve Byrne, GSPCA manager said: ‘The GSPCA are so thankful to the wonderful team at Guernsey Electricity who are so supportive of local causes. From all the team and animals at the GSPCA, a massive thank you for supporting us with the sales of the 2018 Guernsey Electricity calendar.’
‘Every penny makes a huge difference to the many animals in our care at the GSPCA as well as all the other animals we help around the island.’
Seven different staff members contributed to the final product, which includes photos of Marbello Tower, Rocquaine, Sark Heige and Petit Port.
‘The calendars are always great fun to put together and allow our staff to show off their creative talents,’ said Clare Packman, Guernsey Electricity’s communications manager.
The 2018 calendars cost £3.00 and are on sale at Guernsey Electrcity’s shop in Vale.
Last year the calendars raised over £1500 for local special needs group Wigwam.
