We pay particular attention to dialogues with stakeholders. All throughout the project, these discussions will help us achieve our minimal impact objectives.
The Project will adhere to all relevant French and Guernsey permissions and regulatory requirements, which includes consultation with all stakeholders that may be affected by their respective projects, and the assessment of all potential impacts as part of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Prior to the geophysical survey that took place in February 2017, the project team organized an open session held at the Port of Dielette, on Thursday 19th January to explain the survey scope and procedures planned to minimise the impact on local marine activities. Local fishermen from Dielette and Carteret as well as other marine users and community representatives were able to exchange information with members of our project team.
Subject to obtaining all the necessary permissions, the project is scheduled to commence construction in 2021, for completion in 2022.
