Connections & Disconnections
If you are moving house or just moving in to a property for the first time there is some information we will require from you.
We will need to know:
1. Your Name.
2. Your current address.
3. Your new address.
4. The date of the move.
If you telephone our Customer Accounts department our trained operatives will be pleased to guide you through the process.
If you are moving out of a property where you are the registered customer, we will also need to know the name of the new customer or we will have to disconnect the supply. We will probably need to read the meter. To do this we will need at least 1 working days notice. We will be happy to make an appointment If the meter is disconnected and requires a reconnection we will visit the meter and replace the mains fuses. Unless there is somebody present we will leave the main switches off and you will have to switch on at your convenience.
Moving house is a stressful time. However, we have some on-line facilities to make this as easy as possible. If the registered customer is leaving the property we will need to come along and read the meter. Clicking here will take you to a form to request that reading.
Moving In?
The attached form "Continuation of Electricity Supply" should be completed and forwarded to us.
