Records the number of units of electricity you have used.
READING THE METER
Remember when the pointer is between two numbers it is the lower one that counts. If the pointer is directly on a number, read that number. The last (red) dial is ignored.
For example if the pointers are like this:
IF YOU HAVE A DIGITAL (FIGURES ONLY) METER - you read what is indicated - Again the last (red) dial is ignored.
TO CALCULATE UNITS USED - Subtract the previous reading from the current reading, as shown:-
Meter Reading on 1st January = 83627
Meter Reading on 1st October = 83000
Units used = 627

SUPER ECONOMY TWELVE TARIFF
Our Super Economy Twelve tariff is available with electricity at less
than HALF PRICE for twelve hours a day.
The low rate period of the tariff is available in 2 parts, one 10 hour
period between the hours of 19.45pm and 08.15am and one 2 hour period
between 13.00pm to 16.40pm.
Lights, fires, washing machines, water heating, night storage heating,
under floor heating or anything else can be used on this tariff.
