A suitable mm duct or cable route to the termination point must be provided and installed at no cost to Guernsey Electricity.
The excavation and reinstatement of the trench on private property to be undertaken at no cost to Guernsey Electricity.
Metering to be (description of metering). The space required for the metering and service head is 1,000mm wide by 1,250mm high. Alternatives to this arrangement should be submitted to Guernsey Electricity for approval. In the case of the maximum demand tariff, adequate power factor correction measures should be taken, if appropriate, in order to avoid any additional charges. Please contact our Meter Department (Extension 2190) regarding the service termination and associated metering equipment.
A substation room to be provided at no cost to Guernsey Electricity and to its specification; Halon fire suppression equipment will be installed by Guernsey Electricity at the customer's cost; ventilation to provide six air changes per hour.
A freehold or suitable lease agreement will be required by Guernsey Electricity for the substation site. Wayleaves are required to lay and maintain electricity cables and a legal wayleave agreement will be required by Guernsey Electricity for the cable(s), necessary to provide this connection to you. All legal costs incurred in providing this wayleave will be submitted to you for payment on completion of the agreement.
There may be a considerable lead time required to process a Legal Wayleave and work on this project cannot commence until legal formalities are completed. Guernsey Electricity will only instruct Advocates to act after payment of the deposit, as stated above, has been received. We therefore recommend early payment to avoid any delays.
