If you just glance at your electricity statements four times a year then send them straight to recycling, why not make life easier and get them sent straight to your inbox instead? If you switch before 15th March 2024, you'll also be entered into our prize draw.
Until 15th March, we're offering islanders a win-win situation.
We're encouraging our customers to switch to paperless electricity statements to try and help reduce our island's paper wastage and improve carbon footprints. And to say thanks, we're entering everybody on E-Billing into a prize draw too.
We launched our campaign on 1 February to help encourage more islanders to receive electricity statements by email, instead of having them sent by post four times a year. If an overall target of over 15,000 customers is reached, we're confident at least 74,000 fewer sheets of paper and a similar number of envelopes will be printed annually.

Lindy (pictured), one of our customer relationship agents, surrounded by all the boxes of paper we could save each year if 50% of our customers switched to E-Billing. Each box contains 2500 sheets of paper.
All customers already on E-Billing could win a 55" Smart TV or £150 gift vouchers to spend in our shop. And all new e-billing subscribers before 15th March could also win £15 Woodies' coffee vouchers each week.
Steven Parks, Head of Customer Experience at Guernsey Electricity, said: “We have over 30,000 local customers who could move across to paperless billing and are hoping the campaign encourages many of those to make the change.
“E-billing brings an environmental benefit as it reduces the amount of ink and paper we use plus lowers our carbon footprint. The move is easy and customers can receive their statements instantly.”
Switch anytime before 15th March 2024 for a chance to win prizes while also saving a lot of paper.
