We recommend having your electric boiler and heating system checked once a year. This helps keep everything working as efficiently as possible while giving us the opportunity to check that components such as the pressure vessel, controls and safety devices are working properly.

Do I need to check my hot water cylinder?

 

Yes. If you have a hot water cylinder, it’s worth having this checked when your boiler or heating system is serviced too. Some cylinders have a pressure vessel that needs to be repressurised each year. If it loses pressure, it can put extra strain on the system and may lead to problems such as dripping or water being released from the cylinder’s safety valves.
