Jargon translation
| Green Sector | This refers to a section of the island covering the South/South East Corner of Guernsey which currently is the area most affected by supply overload. |
| HV | High Voltage |
| LV | Low Voltage |
| Fibre optic ducting | A system of protective channels or conduits designed to house and safeguard fibre optic cables for data transmission. |
| Jointing | Connecting and sealing electrical cables or wires to ensure a safe and efficient flow of electricity |
