You may have also built up a credit balance or be in debt, which will also have an impact on the amount you will need to pay after the tariff change, which is not included in these estimates. The standing charge applied within this calculation is at the quarterly rate and may differ from your bill as it is applied on a daily rate.

It’s a good idea to check whether your current payments are appropriate. You can use the calculator to understand how the changes will affect your bill and your payments. 

If you need to adjust your payments, you will need to amend your standing order with your bank directly. Please remember to quote your payment reference (beginning 'IS’) so the payments get to your electricity account, and you don’t pay someone else’s electricity.
